  Art at Wilson is developing fine motor skills, self expression, creativity, and an appreciation for other cultures.

     And, while we have a light-filled classroom space for achieving these goals, art isn't limited to the dedicated art classroom time every grade-level receives. Wilson students also experience art in social studies, French, and technology classes, just to name a few, through the myriad of integrated learning curricula our wonderful faculty have developed. Wilson students also explore art and art history at the nearby St. Louis Art Museum, as well as other cultural institutions. Our children learn that art is everywhere!   The Community Music School of Webster University (CMS) has been offering outstanding music education and performance opportunities to students of all ages in the St. Louis region since 1925. Individual lessons are the core of our school, with over 90 instructors (over 85% with advanced degrees) teaching all instruments of the band and orchestra, piano, guitar, voice, and harp.
